The main planter’s bungalow, constructed in 1884, served as the residence for pioneering Scottish tea planters Sir G.H.D. Elphinstone and J. Ragala is a town in the Nuwara Eliya District, in Central Sri Lanka and is a mountain station at 1,662 m (5,456 ft) of altitude, in a splendid landscape. Its geographical coordinates are 7° 0′ 28″ North, 80° 51′ 14″.
