Sri Lanka is a tiny country with a lot of biodiversity and a rich collection of birds. Get a taste of this bird paradise right here at Stafford Bungalow, where we are lucky to have a vibrant population of babblers, parrots, barbets, flycatchers, eagles, and more. Ask your butler for some binoculars and a field guide, and head out around 6.00 am to spend a couple of hours observing their beauties before breakfast.
Butterflies and dragonflies are also common around the bungalow, as are honey bees, so keep an eye out – Stafford Bungalow even houses its own honey bee project in our gardens.
